Outfit of the day – Superdry Camouflage Shorts

Outfit of the day - Superdry Camo Shorts

I decided to wear my new Superdry camouflage regiment shorts with a River Island cross over white blouse. This look is great for the office because it’s smart with the crisp white blouse and dressed up with simple, neutral shoes. But it’s also cool enough to stop me getting hot in the office! Keeping accessories to a minimum stops this from looking too OTT and smart enough for work.

My Casual Style

Sometimes my work requires me to be up and about all day, running around, sorting out deliveries, rummaging through boxes, climbing ladders so my outfits need to be practical so I don’t accidentally flash someone! And they also need to be cute and reflect who I am. So here’s how I put together an outfit that does just that! My leopard print leggings bring my personality and style to any outfit. This high necklined superdry dress is crinkly so firstly I don’t have to worry about creasing it, secondly I’m not accidentally going to flash my cleavage at anyone and thirdly the length is just right (mid thigh) to be flattering and not indecent! I decided to team this outfit with a pair of black cowboy boots which are practical and comfy with a really low heel. I love the chain detail along the back of the heel which goes with the tougher look of this outfit.

French Connection Dress

Now that I’ve nearly reach my 2 stone weightloss mark I am having a field day shopping for new dresses to wear for parties and weddings! I recently bought this beautiful FCUK dress to wear to a works party. The dress is a neutral colour so I really wanted to make a statement with my all time favourite party shoes which are a furry leopard print with a gold heel (I promise they aren’t as tacky as they sound!) and then used a bold gold necklace with turquoise (my fave!) and coral stones to add some colour and make the dress less bland. The shape is also really flattering as it flares out from your waist and skims over the hips and thighs 🙂 It’s just a shame that I had to spend half the night reapplying foundation to my legs to try and hid the bruises I’d managed to get the week before! Oops!

My New Vintage Find!

I got all dressed up for a fun day out at the vintage fair in Gloucester and it wasn’t disappointing!

My outfit for today's @helbellesb vintage and craft fair. my vintage inspired pieces are my grandads rotary watch and my mums first ever handbag! Love wearing things that mean something to me and make me feel close to the people I love :)

I managed to find a gorgeous gold necklace with turquoise detail from the 1960s. What I love about this is that its gold, I quite often only ever see turquoise with silver and I thought this was rather unique. The other thing I like is that the chain is really short, so it sits just on the collar bone, which makes it great for wearing with any neckline but also suitable for layering up with other necklaces.

I knew I would find something beautiful at the #vintage fair!! I got a gorgeous 1960s gold and turquoise detail necklace. Thanks @HelsBellesB for a fabulous day! #glos
