Speed Shred – It’s Not Just For Boys!

Boys! You need to step aside because the girls are taking on speed shred and they are tearing it up!! We’re going to gets abs on our abs and make you weep! For anyone that thinks this exercise is just for boys, I’m going to explain why that’s not the case, and that girls you don’t need to actually worry about “bulking up”, this won’t happen, it will tone and define every inch of your body and you’ll wonder why you’ve not being trying it before!

So what is Speed Shred? It’s a metabolic resistance training program that has been designed by BJ Gaddour

What does that mean? Metabolic resistance training is a combination of exercise/">HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) combined with strength training. The combination of these 2 types of exercise will help your body to burn fat quicker and will help you to get leaner and fitter all at the same time.

What will the program do for me? It will boost your metabolism. Burn more calories in less time. Improve your fitness. Improve your lean muscle mass.

What won’t it do? Girls, I promise you that you WILL NOT get mega muscles by doing strength training. The reason for this is because you are a girl. That’s not meant in a derogatory way meaning we’re too weak. It’s a fact that women have less testosterone then men (that’s what makes us girls!) and testosterone is what helps men to build muscle mass. So what will happen for us girls lifting weights is; we will lose the fat surrounding the muscles, the muscles will grow and get definition and you will look toned and fit. Lifting weights will promote strength not size in women.

With any exercise it’s important to remember that there is no magic wand. You will only get out of it what you put in to it. And if you’re not eating healthily and taking care of your body it’s not going to work. So make sure you look to your kitchen and your lifestyle to make improvements as well as taking on a challenge!
